Terrestrial Ecology Data Collection and Analysis

Our scientists spend countless hours in the wild monitoring complex ecosystems upon land. They observe occurrences in populations and communities of plants, animals and microbes; and their interactions with the atmosphere, water sources and major elements such as carbon and nitrogen. The effects of climate change are telling, and scientific evidence will help us make more informed decisions to preserve our natural heritage for future generations.

Common observation instruments include collaring of animals for tracking and analyzing blood samples.

Join us in the fight against climate change.
