ZIMBABWE PARKS AND WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
WEBMASTER (GRADE D3)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced highly motivated and results driven candidates for the above position to serve as the primary contact for all aspects of the organizations’ website (s), handling a range of responsibilities at the Corporate Centre. The incumbent will report to the ICT Manager.

Duties (Responsibilities)
  • Develops and maintains the website,
  • Manages and monitors server performance,
  • Configures websites,
  • Troubleshoots software and hardware for any malfunction,
  • Carries out computer hardware repairs,
  • Repairs electronic components, circuits and systems used for computer, communication and control systems,
  • Designs software systems and application,
  • Collects and analyses web analytics and similar data.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or any related field.
  • Experience in developing wildlife conservation related websites.
Required Skills/ Abilities
  • Extensive knowledge of website management, analytics, design and Search Engine Optimisation best practices and standards.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript as well as PHP and SQL.
  • Ability to quickly learn web content management systems, applications and tools used by the Authority.
  • Ability to test and debug websites.
