WEBMASTER (GRADE D3)
Duties (Responsibilities)
- Develops and maintains the website,
- Manages and monitors server performance,
- Configures websites,
- Troubleshoots software and hardware for any malfunction,
- Carries out computer hardware repairs,
- Repairs electronic components, circuits and systems used for computer, communication and control systems,
- Designs software systems and application,
- Collects and analyses web analytics and similar data.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or any related field.
- Experience in developing wildlife conservation related websites.
Required Skills/ Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of website management, analytics, design and Search Engine Optimisation best practices and standards.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript as well as PHP and SQL.
- Ability to quickly learn web content management systems, applications and tools used by the Authority.
- Ability to test and debug websites.
