ZIMBABWE PARKS AND WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
FINANCE OFFICER (GRADE C4) x 1 ZIWC

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the above vacant position. The incumbent will report to the Accountant –ZIWC.

Duties (Responsibilities)
  • Posts journals and ensures that transactions are correctly coded,
  • Reconciles the following, local trade creditors and debtors, staff vendors, prepayments and goods received,
  • Processes credit notes in cases of returned goods,
  • Processes staff advance payments and petty cash reimbursements for the bulk Supply Stations through cash or bank transfers,
  • Matches stock and capital goods invoices with actual stocks,
  • Posts checks and checks cash inflows and outflows to ascertain adequacy of funds and avoid overspending,
  • Posts electronic or manual bank statements into the system,
  • Prepares the following reports: i) Creditors age analysis ii) Cashed cheques per bank account iii) VAT and withholding taxes
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
  • A minimum of 5 O’ levels including English and Mathematics/ Accounts,
  • Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent,
  • Professional qualifications such as CIS, SAAA, ACCA and membership to a relevant professional board,
  • A minimum of two years relevant experience,
  • Good analytical skill and Computer literacy,
