ZIMBABWE PARKS AND WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
FINANCE OFFICER (GRADE C4) x 1 ZIWC
Duties (Responsibilities)
- Posts journals and ensures that transactions are correctly coded,
- Reconciles the following, local trade creditors and debtors, staff vendors, prepayments and goods received,
- Processes credit notes in cases of returned goods,
- Processes staff advance payments and petty cash reimbursements for the bulk Supply Stations through cash or bank transfers,
- Matches stock and capital goods invoices with actual stocks,
- Posts checks and checks cash inflows and outflows to ascertain adequacy of funds and avoid overspending,
- Posts electronic or manual bank statements into the system,
- Prepares the following reports: i) Creditors age analysis ii) Cashed cheques per bank account iii) VAT and withholding taxes
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- A minimum of 5 O’ levels including English and Mathematics/ Accounts,
- Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent,
- Professional qualifications such as CIS, SAAA, ACCA and membership to a relevant professional board,
- A minimum of two years relevant experience,
- Good analytical skill and Computer literacy,
